What you like to do when you are not in the lab: I enjoy staying active through sports, like playing tennis and volleyball, as well as going to the gym frequently but also enjoy relaxing to music and movies. I love spending time with my friends and family especially when playing card and board games.

What do you like to do when not in the lab ?:
I like to keep active, I play cricket and netball as well as going rock climbing. I'm a huge fan of Sci-Fi and fantasy books and movies. Also, I can almost always be caught watching Formula 1 on Sundays as well!

Education: Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Biotechnology (University of Thessaly, 2011-2016), Master of Research (King's College London, 2017-2019).
Current position: PhD researcher in Cancer and Immunology
Project: I focus on novel cancer immunotherapies (e.g. immunomodulators, monoclonal antibodies) to harness and enhance the myeloid cell activity (e.g. phagocytosis, efferocytosis) to mediate innate immune training and potentially suppress tumour growth.
Favorite quote: Fortune favours the bold.
What do you like to do when you are not in the lab: I am a big fan of sports. I play football and tennis. I go to the gym quite frequently, I enjoy swimming (swimming pool or open water/sea) and I go for 10-15km runs. I am quite adventurous so during my holidays I choose to go on long road trips and visit new places, cultures and people.
